Child Car Seat

• All kids under the age of four must be secured in a federally-approved child safety seat when riding a vehicle.
• All kids over the age of four must, depending on age and size, either ride in a secured child safety seat or wear a seat belt.

Unattended Kids or Pets in Cars

If you feel a child or pet has been left unattended in a car for an inordinate amount of time, especially during extreme weather conditions, dial 911 and remain at the vehicle in question until authorities arrive.
